Saltaire Village was designated a
World Heritage Site by UNESCO in December
2001. It is named after Sir Titus Salt
who built a textile mill, this beautiful
church and village on the River Aire.

United Reformed Church was built
by Sir Titus Salt in 1859, to
cater for the spiritual needs
of his workers. It soon became
a lively and flourishing congregation.

at the URC
There
are about 25 weddings each year
at the church. Wedding couples who
have links with the area or the
church and who wish to have a Christian
wedding are welcomed.
